Basant Bhatt

Basant Bhatt is an Indian actor who appears in Television Serials.[1] He made his television debut in the series Arjun where he played the role of a school boy Varun. Then he played the lead role of teenage Karna and Karna's son Vrishasena in the television series Suryaputra Karn. Currently he is seen playing the role of Kartikeya and Balarama in Vighnaharta Ganesha and RadhaKrishn respectively.

Career

Basant Bhatt was born on 23 January 1994 in Bageshwar, Uttarakhand. He rose to fame with the role in his debut show Suryaputra Karn, directed by Kamal Monga and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary where he played the role of young Karna. Later he played the role of Karna's son Vrishasena in the same show as the director wanted to cast a person who could match the intensity of Karna.

He has worked in many TV commercials and print shoots. He has also worked in some episodic TV serials like Crime Patrol

Basant is currently doing the main role in the Vighnaharta Ganesha as Lord Kartikeya aka Murugan in Sony TV and in RadhaKrishn as Lord Balarama/Shesha/Lakshmana in Star Bharat.

Basant had to leave Vignaharta Ganesh for a brief period of time due to date issues but he was brought back.[2]
