Healthpoint was founded in 2013, and brings together three centres of clinical excellence:[1] Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery and Dentistry. Healthpoint is part of Mubadala’s Healthcare Network, and is a public hospital.

Leadership

Dr. Jose Lopez is the Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Lopez was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Healthpoint in 2017, bringing his leadership and international expertise[5] to the multi-specialty health and wellness team in Abu Dhabi. In his role at Healthpoint, Dr. Lopez is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the facility.[6] His efforts will establish a culture of clinical collaboration, integration and transparency across Mubadala's Healthcare Network.
