Mohammed Habib Tijani

Mohammed Habib Tijani (born 16 February 1965) is a Ghanaian educationist and a politician, he's the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration. He was appointed in 2017.[1] he was a former District Chief Executive (DCE) and the current Member of Parliament of Ghana for Yendi.[2]

Education and career

Mohammed Habib Tijani attended Bagabaga College of Education and completed with a teacher certificate "A" in 1989. He also attended University of Ghana and graduated with B.A Religious studies in 2000. Tijani completed Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2012 with Master of Governance and Leadership and proceeded to Valley View University where he obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Education in 2016.[3]

Tijaani was as a teacher in Yendi Secondary School from 1995 to 1997 and also served as the Assistant Director in charge for Monitoring and Supervision for Central Gonja from 2009 to 2013. Habib Tijani was the Municipal Chief Executive for Yendi from 2001 to 2009.[3]
