Running Deer (film)
Running Deer is a short narrative film by Toy Gun Films[1] which premiered in June 2013.[2] Written by Jeff Goldberg (Half Good Killer), directed by Brent Ryan Green, and produced by Brent Ryan Green [3] and Jeff Goldberg,[4] who are co-founders of Toy Gun Films, and also featuring Tom Marvel[5] as the director of photography.

Running Deer focuses on the story of a high school cross country star who faces many personal struggles on the day before a very important race. The short film stars Booboo Stewart, Jon Proudstar, and Q'orianka Kilcher. The film was shot entirely in Oklahoma in October 2012. In June 2013, Running Deer screened at the DeadCENTER Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize for short film.[6]
Premise
Booboo Stewart plays Tyler, a high school cross country star growing up in a Native American community who faces a barrage of personal struggles the day before the most important race of his life.
