Shenzhen Capital Group

Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd (“SCGC”) (深圳市创新投资集团有限公司) is a limited venture capital company based in Shenzhen, China. It was established by the Shenzhen Government in 1999.[2] It is considered one of the largest and most active venture capital firms in China.[3][4][5]

Background

SCGC primarily invests in SMEs, high-tech enterprises, enterprises in emerging industries, and enterprises in start-up period, growth period and in transformation, covering industries supported by national policies.[2]

It invests in various different industries such as technology, media, biopharmaceuticals, energy, engineering, manufacturing etc.[5]

As of 2020, SCGC has registered capital of 10 billion RMB, and total AUM of 402.2 billion RMB.[1]

By the end of December 2020, SCGC had 1220 investment projects, with a cumulative investment of about 60.7 billion RMB. 180 of which have been listed in 16 capital markets worldwide.[1]
