Birkach

Birkach ( /ˈbɪərkx/) is an urban district in the south of Stuttgart located on the Filderebene just north of Plieningen. Of the districts of Stuttgart, Birkach is among the smallest.[1]

History

The first mention of Birkach occurred in 1140, and the town was mentioned again 150 years later, when it was sold to Bebenhausen Abbey in 1290.[1]
